All of our teachers are u201CCoolu201D at Cummings Elementary! We are proud of each and every one of our teachers. 4th Grade teacher, Mr. Peltz, was recently nominated and won the WGVU Cool Teacher Award! One of his 4th graders, Elianna, wrote in to WGVU to nominate Mr. Peltz. Elianna wrote a beautiful letter describing the many reasons Mr. Peltz is so special to her and the rest of her classmates. Elianna focused on Mr. Peltzu2019s passion for teaching, making learning fun, and going above and beyond for his students. WGVU celebrated this award with Mr. Peltz and his entire class with a pizza party! Mr. Peltz and Elianna also each received tickets to an upcoming Griffins hockey game as well as an invitation to the Cool Teacher Banquet this spring.
