Mrs. Elder teaches second grade. She received her bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University. She also received her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. Mrs. Elder has been teaching for 19 years. This is her thirteenth year in second grade at Cummings Elementary. Prior to teaching at Cummings, Mrs. Elder taught first grade at South Elementary.
Mrs. Elder is married and has two daughters, a 1st grader and 4th grader, at South Elementary. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, shopping, and visiting to the beach.
