Mr. Horton is a sixth grade homeroom teacher at Cummings Elementary. In his early years, he was a Grandville kid, going to South Elementary from kindergarten through sixth grade. From there, he went on to Grandville Middle School (the current administration building) and then Grandville High School (the current middle school).
After high school, Mr. Horton attended Grand Valley State University. He earned his bachelor's and master's degree at GVSU.
Mr. Horton has been a sixth grade teacher at Cummings Elementary for the past nine years. Prior to his time at Cummings, Mr. Horton was a special education teacher at Grandville Middle School as well as Prairie View Junior Middle School.
